Anticipation was building all night for this RCP match-up.  Last month’s mishaps led to the nights most anticipated pairings.  The confusion caused by CEO Mister Crister’s absence last month lead Ring Announcer Mike Rose into facilitating match contracts that he wasn’t comfortable with.

The wrong contracts, the wrong teams, the wrong stipulations, it didn’t matter, it’s all official and feuding teammates Stride and Steeler were teamed together to face other feuding teammates in Duro and Fontaine.  Pinch hitting for Duro was Michael Blake (who bought Duro’s contract) and now he is officially back with RCP as well.
It was a big ball of confusion and the match wasn’t much clearer!  At least Fontaine and Blake agreed that they needed to work together in order to win.  Stride and Steeler couldn’t even come to the ring together without being threatened by Mister Crister as they continued their argument coming through the curtain and into the ring.

There was high-impact, fast action all throughout the match with Steeler and Fontaine pairing well showing respect and solid wrestling moves as they faced each other.   Stride and Blake with their egotistical goals stole every opportunity to under mind their opposers.  In the end, Steeler and Stride couldn’t keep it together and Fontaine was able to gain the pin over Stride for the team win for his duo with Blake.

Stride and Steeler continue to assault and attack each other.  Stride turns on Ring Announcer Mike Rose for making the match in the first place and flattens him with a spear.  As Rose regains his composure he is inadvertently hit again with a spontaneous super kick from Steeler that was aimed for Stride.  Rose is down for the count and the 2 enemies continue to viscously attack each other.  The dugouts empty as both teams pull apart the crazed opponents.  It took everyone on the roster plus all security staff to regain composure in the arena.  Mister Crister stepped up and had to make it happen – Stride and Steeler, both suspended for the next show.  Mike Rose will no doubt be on the IR list for a while.
